Garlic is a species in the onion family Alliaceae, native to China. It has been used in Chinese traditional medicine in enhancing function of blood circulation and immune system.

1. Circulatory system

Garlic is a circulatory enhancer, it helps to improve the blood in transportation oxygen to body cells by inhibiting the levels of bad cholesterol and triglycerides resulting in increasing the nutrients to the cells in nervous tension and lessening the risk of nervous symptoms.
